Photo Requirements
Child Passports
- All Canadian children under 16 years old must have their own passport to travel.
- Child passports cannot be renewed — you must gather the required documents and submit a new application each time.
- A child passport is valid for up to 5 years. It remains valid until its expiry date, even if the child turns 16 during that period.
Adult Passports
- Canadians 16 years of age or older must apply for an adult passport.

Passport Renewal Requirements
You are eligible to renew your passport if:
- It was issued when you were at least 16 years old
- It is still valid or expired within 15 years of the date you apply for renewal
- Your name, date/place of birth, and gender are the same as in your previous passport.

No passport photos? No problem. Our professional photographer will take your photos on-site—free of charge, ensuring they meet government requirements.
📝 Document Verification
Our team will help you complete your passport application forms accurately and ensure all required information and signatures are in place.
✔ Application Review
Before you submit your application, we’ll conduct a thorough review to confirm your package is complete and ready for processing, helping you avoid delays.

Our last Passport Clinic was held on November 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stoney Creek Municipal Centre located at 777 Highway 8 in Stoney Creek.

Can I renew my passport?
- It was issued when you were at least 16 years old
- It is still valid or expired within 15 years of the date you apply for renewal
- Your name, date/place of birth, and gender are the same as in your previous passport.
- Please bring your current passport.
What do I need to bring?
First-Time Adult Applications:
- Valid government-issued photo ID that includes your name, date of birth, photo, and signature (e.g., Driver’s Licence, Ontario Photo Card, or Health Card)
- Long-form birth certificate or citizenship certificate
Child Applications (under 16):
- Long-form birth certificate or citizenship certificate
- Proof of parentage or legal guardianship
Please note: For new applications, photocopies of valid ID must be signed by your guarantor. If you need copies made at the clinic, your guarantor must attend with you to sign them.
What payment options are available?
Your passport application fee must be made by credit card, certified cheque, or money order, payable to: Receiver General for Canada.
Please note that we will not process your credit card at the clinic.

We are unable to act as a guarantor.
