Our team will help you through the first-time application or renewal process. 

Eligibility

This service is available to residents of Hamilton East–Stoney Creek. Advance registration is not required.

Our staff will verify and assist with completing all passport application forms correctly

On-Site Photographer

Don’t have passport photos? Our photographer will take them for you—free of charge.

Application Review

We will review your application package for completeness before official submission.

Passport Clinic FAQ

Can I renew my passport?

You are eligible to renew your passport if:

    • It was issued when you were at least 16 years old
    • It is still valid or expired within 15 years of the date you apply for renewal
    • Your name, date/place of birth, and gender are the same as in your previous passport.
    • Please bring your current passport.
What do I need to bring?

First-Time Adult Applications:

    • Valid government-issued photo ID that includes your name, date of birth, photo, and signature (e.g., Driver’s Licence, Ontario Photo Card, or Health Card)
    • Long-form birth certificate or citizenship certificate

Child Applications (under 16):

Long-form birth certificate or citizenship certificate

    • Proof of parentage or legal guardianship

Please note: For new applications, photocopies of valid ID must be signed by your guarantor. If you need copies made at the clinic, your guarantor must attend with you to sign them.

What payment options are available?

Your passport application fee must be made by credit card, certified cheque, or money order, payable to: Receiver General for Canada.

Please note that we will not process your credit card at the clinic.
